Adult Choir
Each offering of the adult choir is presented to the glory of God alone. The choir sings regularly in our worship services. Accompanied by our Walker Organ, piano or various other instruments, we sing everything from music of the masters to music written yesterday. If you love to sing and want to use that gift in service of our Lord, come and join us! The choir is open to all and rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. Sing praise to God, who reigns above!
Children’s Choir
Our children’s choir is an important ministry of the church. The choir is open to all children in grades K-6. We have a wonderful time singing fun songs, easy anthems and hymns. The children’s choir sings regularly in our worship services. The children’s choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am.
Worship Band
Our worship band of piano, keyboard, guitar, voice and drums brings music that is tied to the prayers, readings, message and season of the church year. The words of the songs are projected so the congregation can know the message of the music and can sing together.
Zion Musik
ZION Musik is the concert series of Zion Lutheran Church. Its goal and aim comes from Martin Luther’s quote: “Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise.” In its first season, ZION Musik will present a wide variety of concerts. All events are free and open to the public.
