— Taize Services are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. Weather permitting, these services are held outside in the Cooper House backyard

–First Wednesday of Each Month beginning Sept. 6th!  This is like an elementary-aged youth group.  All kids, grades pre-k – 6 are welcome and encouraged to give it a try!   Dinner will be from 5:30 – 6 PM and activities will be from 6 – 7 PM.   Visit the Children’s Ministry  page for more info.

 

JOYFUL NOISE OFFERING (bring your extra change to church)

–Every 3rd Sunday of the month (except during Lent) we collect coins during a special offering that goes to a social outreach organization. 

 

— Held on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM In Zion’s Social Room.  Come enjoy a warm, delicious meal!  It’s for anyone and everyone! 

 

ZION YOUTH MINISTRY (ZYM)–Open to all youth in 6th through 12th grades!  Regular meetings take place on most 2nd and 4th Sundays of the Month at 6:00 PM in the ZYM Room.  Other events take place throughout the year.  Visit the

YARN MINISTRY meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 1 PM in the Parlor during the school year, from October 18 – May.  Even if you don’t know how to knit or crochet, you are still welcome to come…you can learn! We make prayer shawls, preemie hats, chemo beanies, lap robes, and many other items designed to warm hearts, souls and bodies.

 

BLANKET MINISTRY  –This group gathers on 1st Mondays at 9 a.m. from October – May in the Social Room to sew together quilts and blankets for distribution to persons in need locally and globally.  Contributions of sheets, light blankets, and your stitchery skills are welcomed.  They will begin this year in October.
